KTM undeniably produces some of the most capable motocross and enduro motorcycles on the planet — a feat the Ready To Race brand has maintained over the last several decades with an ever-evolving lineup that benefits from key updates year after year. And the 2023 model year is no exception, with KTM treating its entire XC-W and XCF-W ranges to a host of revisions, making for the most competitive dual-sport models the Austrian outfit has ever produced
The 2023 model year sees KTM’s enduro lineup receive new orange frame powder-coating, along with redesigned graphics across the entire range, with a new purple and orange livery that pays homage to KTM’s dual-sport models from the early 1990s. Every new model also now comes straight from the factory wearing Dunlop MX33 tires up front and AT81 rubber out back. The biggest update, however, is undoubtedly the addition of fully-adjustable WP XPLOR suspension as standard, as well as KTM’s rear Progressive Damping System which bolsters ground clearance, improves durability, and reduces the component’s required maintenance
Benefitting from these changes are half a dozen revised dual-sports, along with one all-new competition-focused model. The 2023 lineup’s XC-W [two-stroke] range is now comprised of the 150 XC-W, 250 XC-W, and 300 XC-W — all of which feature KTM’s patented Transfer Port Injection. The EXC-F [four-stroke] dual-sport models for the 2023 year include the 350 EXC-F and the 500 EXC-F — the latter of which is also being offered in a special-edition SIX DAYS version which gets a slew of billet items and protective elements, a front axle puller, a special SIX DAYS seat, orange-anodized CNC-milled triple clamps, and a dedicated red, white, and blue throwback race livery contrasting the LE model’s orange framework. The 2023 model year also sees the addition of the brand-new 450 XCF-W — a race-bred, regulation-sized, competition-spec 450
While KTM has yet to reveal pricing for any of the models in its XC-W and XCF-W ranges, the company has stated that the 2023 model year lineup will hit dealerships beginning next month. And, as per usual, KTM will be offering a wide range of “PowerParts” for the XC-W and XCF-W models
