2023 Lexus LX 600 flagship LX SUV has been redesigned for 2022, with an upgraded interior and rides on a modern platform, and is powered by a twin-turbocharged engine.
Based on the new Toyota Land Cruiser—which, sadly, won’t be sold in the US—the LX600 takes off-road capability seriously but doesn’t skimp on luxury. The previous generation came with a stocky V-8 engine, but the new version will match the 409-hp twin-turbo V-6 engine.
The four-wheel drive remains standard and the LX can be equipped with several off-road equipment, including a height-adjustable suspension system.
Lexus enriched the interior of the new LX600 to compete with the luxury cars of its contemporaries—big luxury SUVs such as the BMW X7, Land Rover Range Rover, and Mercedes-Benz GLS Class.
13 years of the last generation, the 2022 LX600 received a fundamental redesign. Deliveries will begin in early 2022.
Various trims are available, including an enhanced twin-turbo V-6 powertrain, and a more luxurious interior than the previous model.
The third row is not standard equipment, the F Sport model has a rough ride, not quite as rich as the Range Rover.
The new LX is more luxurious, more fuel-efficient, and more desirable than ever, and its modern package makes it more competitive with its high-value rivals.

Lexus LX 600 New Model 2023 Fresh from a complete redesign for the first time in more than a decade, the Lexus LX 600 2023 is a massive luxury SUV that slides into the next model year with only minor changes.
This could easily include adding a hybrid powertrain to the LX lineup, to provide additional horsepower and increased MPG.
2023 Lexus LX 600 With three rows of seating, standard 4-wheel drive [4WD] and a powerful 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged 409-horsepower V6 hiding behind a large front grille, the LX is designed to compete with similar luxury vehicles. . -any SUV.
These include the BMW X7, Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class, Land Rover Range Rover, and Cadillac Escalade.
Using the same basic powertrain found in the all-new Toyota Tundra pickup truck, the LX has upped its game significantly in terms of engine refinement, not to mention the level of luxury you’ll find every time you step inside.
There’s seating for up to seven people on top of the LX 600, and the quality of materials used throughout the interior is a big step up from the previous LX 570 — a model that’s been on sale for about 14 years.
Thankfully, all of these changes include an overhaul of the LX’s infotainment system, which previously relied on awkward touchpad-style controls on the center console. Finally, the LX comes with a touchscreen interface and all the better for it.
Offered in five main trims, the top-of-the-line Ultra Luxury model offers a unique 4-seat cabin layout.
This turns the LX 600 into the equivalent of a high-riding limousine, which happens to have the all-terrain hardware needed to handle all kinds of driving adventures.

New Lexus LX 600 Redesign
The new Lexus LX600 comes with the LX-F Sports trim featuring a larger look with a black-painted mesh grille layout and 22-inch forged aluminum-alloy wheels exclusive to this trim.
In the new Lexus LX 600, Lexus has finally gotten rid of the old and tattered interior layout that was used for years in LX cars.
The interior layout is loaded with many tech instruments and screens for the new car. There are two screens in the middle with the top measuring 12.3 inches for navigation, entertainment, and mirrors.
The second screen is right below and shows the climate control settings and driving settings, even if the position is off for someone driving the car.
The Ultra-Luxury trim is on a whole different level with an uber-luxury setup that feels more like an S-Class than an off-road SUV.
The 2022 Lexus LX600 packs a 5.7-liter twin-turbo V8 straight from the 300-Series Land Cruiser, which makes 409HP and 489 lb-ft of torque with an all-new 19-speed automatic transmission.
The new Lexus LX600 comes standard with AWD in all trims. This new platform is used in conjunction with the Toyota Tundra and Land Cruiser.
Lexus claims that it has reduced weight by more than 441 pounds and increased stiffness by 20%. This helps in better handling in corners, more acceleration, and less chance of body roll.
When Was The Lexus Lx Redesign, The most attractive part of the new LX600 is its surprising off-road capabilities, despite having high luxury standards for an SUV.
This is a good tribute to the Land Cruiser which is known to be good off-road even though it offers high luxury.
The LX600 features an adaptive variable suspension, a new electric-powered steering wheel, and an electronically controlled braking system.
Lexus also offers an Active Height Control System with Low, Normal, Hi1, and Hi2 settings to customize your driving experience as needed.
2023 Lexus LX 600 F Sport
When Lexus launched the all-new 2023 LX 600 a few months ago it was a Lexus SUV that used a downsized engine with a naturally-aspirated 5.7-liter V8 exhaust for a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6.
However, the boosted six-cylinder engine produces more power and torque than ever before.
The type of twin-turbo V6 engine used in the 2023 LX600 is the same type found in the flagship sedan LS 500. However, the LX 600 produces less horsepower than the LS 500. The LS itself delivers 416 horsepower [310 kilowatts]. ], the LX has 409 horsepower [305 kilowatts].
As for torque, the Lexus LX 2023 draws 479 pound-feet [650 Newton-meters] of torque compared to the LS rating of 443 pound-feet [600 Newton-meters].
But the folks from Ekanoo Racing wanted to see how much power is put to use on the road. In this case, they used a dyno to find out. If Ekanoo Racing sounds familiar, it’s the same tuning company that did the dyno run on the new Land Cruiser.
It’s worth noting that the Land Cruiser we tested had the same twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine, so it will be interesting to see how the Lexus version will cost.
In testing with the Land Cruiser, this 2023 Lexus 600 SUV put out 370 horsepower [276 kilowatts] on rolling roads. With that said, the LX 600 should at least match that number.
The model that Ekanoo uses is only 9 miles [17 kilometers] away, so it still has a very eco-friendly engine. However, the results do not match the figure of the Land Cruiser.
The best performance on the dyno produces 362 horsepower [270 kilowatts], 8 horsepower [6 kilowatts] less than its Toyota counterpart.
The tuning company has a plausible explanation for the results. It is thought the lower rating is due to the F Sport’s heavier 22-inch alloy wheels. Previously tested Land Cruiser sported 20-inch alloy wheels.
Either way, Ekanoo Racing says the new twin-turbo V6 is much more powerful than the naturally aspirated V8. If you factor in the drivetrain losses on the dyno, the numbers are also pretty close to the manufacturer’s claims.

2023 Lexus LX 600 Price
We expect the base trim level of the Lexus LX 600 2023 to have a starting price of around $87,000.
That’s a significant amount of money, despite competing with similar 3-row luxury SUVs from BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac, Audi, and Land Rover.
When ordered in the most expensive trim, the LX 600 Ultra Luxury with two reclining second-row seats, the price of this Lexus jumps to around $126,000.
The 2023 Lexus LX600 Price is more of a premium SUV and has far more off-road capabilities than a typical luxury SUV.
Base models start at $88,245 and consumer favorite Premium trim will cost $96,345 and luxury trim will start at $104,345 and Ultra Luxury Trim will go up to $127,345.
The LX-F Sports trim is priced lower at $102,345 and has a better off-road capability.
