HK3700 có thể phát nhạc từ thẻ nhớ thông qua cổng USB, hỗ trợ phát từ các điện thoại thông minh có hệ điều hành iOS hay Android thông qua kết nối cáp hoặc không dây giao thức DLNA giúp ampli dễ dàng kết nối với Ethernet,…. Kết nối Ethernet tích hợp cho phép bạn sử dụng công nghệ DLNA để kết nối với mạng gia đình của bạn để chia sẻ nội dung như nhạc, ảnh và video. Bạn cũng có thể sử dụng kết nối Internet của người nhận này để truy cập radio phát trực tuyến Internet. Để dễ dàng kiểm soát hệ thống, ta chỉ cần tải ứng dụng Harman KardonRemote miễn phí trên các thiết bị Smartphone chạy hệ điều hành Android và iOS tương thích. Thêm vào đó một điều khiển từ xa tiêu chuẩn cũng được kèm theo với thiết bị này .

I stumbled across a Harman Kardon Two Thirty a couple days ago and am finally getting around to really put it through its paces. This is a really nice nice looking and solidly built unit. Quite the charmer. There wasn't anything wrong with it except for a blown fuse in the rear and dust elephants on safari inside the chassis. The only idiosyncrasy I can find is if the selector is set to AM while using the tape monitor, there is a slight hum present. Changing it to FM/FM Stereo/Phono/Aux eliminates the hum. That's the only issue

It is not only nice looking, it is nice sounding even with my cheesy turntable. For such a low powered unit it has a surprising output. I am starting to understand why some people say large receivers are overkill as this could easily be the perfect receiver.

There aren't a lot of specs for this online and some are conflicting. HiFi Engine has a service manual for the 230A but who knows if they are identical except for the faceplate & knobs or if there were changes made. It's clear thet the 230 has flown under the radar for quite some time yet owners and/or previous owners love it

Correction: On the HiFi Engine page for the 230, the Owner's Manual is for the 230A but the Service Manual is for the Two Thirty [spelled out in script] yet on the 2nd to last page there is a note which mentions the 230 & 230A as if they were different. Curiouser and curiouser

  There were lots of problems with the output transistors and some of this is detailed at the end of the service manual. We also have an AK’er from HK talking about the 230 and 230A

“The 230 series was never produced in Plainview. They were all produced in Japan. The 230 and 230A produced by Roland, and the 230E produced by Shin Shirasuna.”​

Not sure of the relevance but I did notice that the 230 was made in Japan while the 230A was made in Taiwan.

On another note and as a newbie to AK and a neophyte to vintage HiFi in general I wonder why anyone would choose to share a comments like this:

Personally, because of the 230's low output power, poor FM tuner performance, and the low cost availability of far better used models, I would not bother repairing a 230 or 230A. But that's just me. Perhaps the 230 has sentimental value and you want it fixed. Up to you.

Posts like this happen more than they should on AK and are far from helpful. I understand it is a 10 years old comment and I hope this person has gotten that stick out of his @$$ in the last decad. It seemed to have been wedged in there pretty deep tho
