How to Change Taskbar thumbnail and list mode Windows 10

Taskbar List or Thumbnail Previews Mode --

How to Change Taskbar Thumbnail and List Mode Threshold in Windows 8.1?

Hello --

I am trying to figure out how to do something in Windows 8.1 that I was able to do in Windows 7, through the magic of a Registry entry made available by the Admin at SevenForums, Brink. [He wrote a program that would 'patch' the Registry, I believe, so that this behavior would take place.]

By default, the Windows 8.1 Taskbar will show thumbnail previews of open windows and programs when you hover the mouse pointer over it's Taskbar icon while using an 'Aero' theme.

When you are using a Basic or High Contrast theme, the Taskbar will only show a list of tabs [list mode] for the open windows and programs [ex: Internet Explorer] when you hover the mouse pointer over it's Taskbar icon, and never any thumbnail previews.

I would like to have my applications always LIST the tabs, or windows, that are open within them, when I hover on the app in the Taskbar of Windows 8.1.

Can someone please show me how to do this in Windows 8.1?

Thanks in advance,

~Antonnio
