HOW TO USE

Apply onto clean skin and leave it on for 15-20 minutes, then remove. Lightly pat to aid absorption of remaining essence.

THE FACE SHOP challenged me to try out their new 2-in-1 Curling Mascara for a week. In this series of mini review, I will be sharing with you on my opinions in bite sized information.

Mascara fans, hop and read on to find out whether THE FACE SHOP 2-in-1 Curling Mascara combats our common Mascara woes.

Problem 1: Smudges under the eyes.

While Rocket Raccoon may have been the quintessence of glamour in Guardians of the Galaxy, we wouldn’t want to steal his look at work.

How it Solves:

The soft fine, slim brush from THE FACE SHOP 2-in-1 Curling Mascara is designed to get into the little corners of my lashes. It curls each and every lash with minimal effort.

It was impressively not clumpy and made my lashes superlong and lasting up to 16 hours before it flakes a little around my eyes. A few hours short of its advertise 24 hours, but then again, who wears makeup for 24 hours or longer?

Problem 2: Big or Small Wands Dilemma.

Love the formulation of your Mascara but wish that it comes in a different size; big or small brush for various uses? Fumbling around to search and finding yourself having to tug around two tubes of mascara with different brush size in your makeup bag? Deja vu? I bet I’m not the only one.

How it Solves:

I have to admit THE FACE SHOP 2-in-1 Curling Mascara solved the issue I have been facing for years.

Currently, I’m impressed with the results with regards to its functionality. Of course, I’m not naive to be easily won over just because of the convenience that it gives. Problem 3: I need it to be Water and Sweat resistance! Summer-proof!!!

The Verdict:

While I do enjoy my love affair with The Curl Fix Mascara from Etude House, I would have to admit that THE FACE SHOP 2-in-1 Curling Mascara just spice things up on my vanity table.

With a promise to give the same performance of the Curl Fix Mascara from Etude House, THE FACE SHOP 2-in-1 Curling Mascara isn’t lacking in any oblivious area. Perhaps, I would say it performs even better and isn’t a clingy lover at the end of the day.

While I do love the Long Lasting Curls that Etude Curl Fix gives me, I would have to admit that it is a pain in the a** to remove it. 😤 Plus, I always have to tug around at least 3 mascaras with me.

Perhaps, the downside of The Face Shop 2-in-1 Curling Mascara is its limited range of colours; black and brown only. It is slightly pricey (SGD$19.90) if you compared to your standard Korean road shop brands. However, if you factor in the need to opt the usage of any lash fixer with this Mascara, it is actually price friendly to your purse. 😏

That’s it. I’m ditching my current love for this; THE FACE SHOP 2-in-1 Curling Mascara. My New Love for this Summer. 💋
