I. Cấu trúc các dạng câu so sánh trong tiếng Anh

1. Câu so sánh bằng
Cấu trúc so sánh bằng với tính từ/trạng từ:
S + V + as + [adj/ adv] + as
Ví dụ:
- I am as good in Math as in English [Tôi vừa giỏi Toán vừa giỏi tiếng Anh].
- Hoa’s dress is as expensive as yours [Váy của Hoa đắt như váy của bạn].
2. Câu so sánh hơn
Cấu trúc so sánh hơn với tính từ/trạng từ ngắn và dài:
S + V + [adj/adv] + “-er” + than S + V + more + adj/adv + than
Ví dụ:
- Nam is shorter than his younger brother [Nam thấp hơn em trai của anh ấy].
- Hoa is a more professional volleyball player than me [Hoa là vận động viên bóng chuyền chuyên nghiệp hơn tôi].
3. Câu so sánh nhất
Cấu trúc câu so sánh nhất với tính từ/trạng từ ngắn và dài:
S + V + the + Adj/Adv + -est S + V + the + most + Adj/Adv
Ví dụ:
- Nguyet is the youngest person in my company. [Nguyệt là người trẻ nhất trong công ty của tôi].
- Ngân is the most intelligent student in my English class [Ngân là học sinh thông minh nhất trong lớp học tiếng Anh].
4. Câu so sánh đặc biệt
So sánh gấp bội:
S + V + bội số + as + much/many/adj/adv + [N] + as + N/pronoun
Ví dụ: Gasoline prices this year are twice as high as last year [Giá xăng năm nay cao gấp đôi năm ngoái].
So sánh càng – càng/ so sánh kép:
The + So sánh hơn + S + V + The + So sánh hơn + S +V
Ví dụ: The more careful you are, the less mistakes you make [Bạn càng cẩn thận, bạn càng ít mắc phải sai lầm].
