Hi my angels, today I will be talking about the 2nd blush from the Maybelline color show range.Yesterday I reviewed the shade fresh coral and today we will be going through the Maybelline Color Show Blush Peachy Sweetie Review, Swatches. I did grab all these 3 blushes because they just looked super cute and I had to have them.
Maybelline Color Show Blush is the new stellar blush on the block! The ultra smooth blush can be easily blended for a natural hue. A single application of the blush is good enough for a long lasting tint. It is an extremely light weight powder blush which will give you a fresh look minus the oiliness and shine! the non chalky texture makes the application process easy. Highly pigmented hence one application is good enough for naturally glowy cheeks! Available in 3 different shades.

In Detail Maybelline Color Show Blush Peachy Sweetie Review, Swatches and My Experience
The Maybelline colorshow blush comes in a black coloured pan packaging. The lid is basically see through which I really like. The product is placed in a dome shaped which makes it super easy to get the blush on a brush. While using this design of blushes, we only need to swirl a blush brush on the surface of the product once or twice and the brush does pick up good amount of pigment. I love the fact that all details are written on the back of the product. I am quite surprised actually how they were able to hold a 7 gram product in that tiny pan with literally all details about the product [including ingredient list] mentioned on the back. The MAC blush packaging of 6 grams actually looks bulkier in front of this one.
The texture of this blush is extremely smooth and finely milled. It feels really light, soft and satiny. Its very pigmented so I always have to be very careful about the amount of blush I am picking up on my brush. This may seem a tad bit chalky but only when I pick up more than the required amount of product.
Peachy sweetie is by far the closest dupe to MAC fluer power. So needless to say its my favourite blush. Its a very soft, vibrant peachy pink shade with coral hints. Its neither too cool toned nor too warm toned. This would pretty much suit all skin tones, its a versatile pink shade. The only difference between this and MAC fluer power is that Colour Show Peachy sweetie has really fine silver shimmers in it while the former has no shimmers. This shade would definitely suit all skin tones.
The staying power of this blush on me was around 5 hours without fading. I am really happy that it didn’t turn patchy throughout its wear time. Even when it fades, it does so evenly so that I don’t have weird blushed and non blushed areas on my cheek 😛 Although I do have oily combination skin so I am guessing this would last slightly for a lesser amount of time on ladies with dry skin type. Basically these are pop of fantastic cheek pigments in a cute little black pan.

Indian makeup market has been lacking in good budget blushes for so long and finally Maybelline has brought out a great pocket friendly blush. Maybelline Cheeky Glow blushes are the perfect little additions to any makeup crazed girl’s vanity.

As you can see above I bought all three shades – Creamy Cinnamon, Peachy Sweetie and Fresh Coral. I guess it is quite obvious by now that I like them a lot. All three shades are matte [Creamy Cinnamon has a very subtle silvery sheen] and have great pigmentation. These are such wearable colors and they will look very nice on a variety of Indian skin tones.
If you’ve never used blush then these are perfect to start with. They’re pigmented but no so much that it is difficult to work with. All three colors can easily be worn to office/college and will not look over the top.
The texture is buttery soft and almost feels creamy to touch. They blend like a dream and do not look powdery or cakey. I did experience some fallout while picking up the product on my blush brush[Fresh Coral had the most fallout] but it is not a big problem. They lasted a good 5-6 hours on me with Fresh Coral performing the best.
Creamy Cinnamon is a pinky neutral toned blush which is great for anyone who has problems with redness on their cheeks. It is also the easiest one to use and will add just a hint of dusty pink to the skin with a very very subtle sheen. It is a really unique shade in a sea of pinks and corals. My favorite out of the bunch.
Peachy Sweetie is a standard peachy pink and is completely matte. Lovely mid tone color that will work for anyone and also with a lot of looks. Very youthful and innocent looking color and in my opinion it will be great for teens/college going girls.
Fresh Coral is the deepest and brightest color of the range. It is a beautiful bright pinky coral and is also matte. If you’re afraid the above two colors are too light to show up on your skin then go for this. Looks lovely and adds a fresh pop of color. It really brightens up the face.
The Good

- Matte colors that are easier to wear than shimmery blushes
The Bad
- Bit of fallout while touching the brush to the product
- I wish they bring out more colors
- Packagaing is not that great

Really impressed with the Maybelline Cheeky Glow blushes. They’re great value for money and will make many makeup lovers happy 🙂
