Samsung Galaxy A5 [2017] đã được phát hiện thông tin cấu hình vào tháng 8. Ngoài ra nó còn được chứng nhận vào tháng 10 và bây giờ là xuất hiện hình ảnh rõ nét từ trong video mới đây.
Hôm nay, AndroidAuthority đã tiết lộ về thiết kế của Samsung Galaxy A5 [2017] sẽ khá giống với Samsung Galaxy S7 năm nay. Các góc sẽ được bo tròn và được thiết kế bằng kim loại cũng như mặt trước sau được làm từ kính. Trông rất giống Galaxy S7.
Được biết rằng, Samsung Galaxy A5 [2017] sẽ có kích thước tương tự như chiếc Samsung Galaxy A5 [2016], sẽ được trang bị một màn hình 5.2 inch với độ phân giải 1080 x 1920 pixel. Nhưng chiếc Samsung Galaxy A5 [2017] sẽ dày hơn so với người tiền nhiệm của mình một chút, hơn 0.5mm so với Samsung Galaxy A5 [2016], điều này có khả năng là Samsung Galaxy A5 [2017] sẽ được nâng cấp về pin.
Samsung Galaxy A5 [2017] được cho rằng sẽ trang bị cổng USB Type C. Samsung Galaxy A5 [2017] đã được lộ ra thông tin cấu hình rằng được trang bị con chip Exynos 7880 8 nhân, với 3GB RAM, 16GB bộ nhớ trong có khả năng mở rộng qua thẻ microSD, camera chính 13MP. Camera sau sẽ không lồi như hình ảnh cho thầy.
Bây giờ vẫn chưa thể xác định rõ ràng các thông tin của chiếc siêu phẩm Samsung Galaxy A5 [2017] này. Nhưng có lẽ Samsung Galaxy A5 [2017] vẫn thuộc phân khúc tầm trung như người tiền nhiệm, vậy chúng ta hãy đợi thêm nhiều thông tin hơn nhé.
Kỳ này thì Samsung ra mắt 2 sản phẩm là Galaxy A5 2017 và Galaxy A7 2017, có giá lần lượt 9 và 11 triệu đồng. Sự khác biệt giữa 2 sản phẩm này chủ yếu đến từ kích cỡ màn hình [5.2 và 5.7”], dung lượng pin [3000mAh và 3600mAh] và giá.
Đúng như mọi năm, thiết kế dòng sản phẩm S của 2016 được ứng dụng vào A-series 2017. Ngoại trừ việc được chế tạo không cao cấp bằng [tất nhiên] thì Galaxy A5 2017 có thể nói là rất giống với Samsung Galaxy S7, đặc biệt là ở mặt sau. Tuy nhiên, khác với S7 có nắp lưng cong phía sau hơi cấn thì A5 được làm theo kiểu Galaxy Note 7, mượt mà hơn và cho cảm giác cầm dễ chịu hơn, dù nó cho mình có cảm giác hơi quái quái một chút. Có lẽ một phần cảm giác này đến từ việc A5 được thiết kế khá trơn.
Nếu để ý bạn sẽ thấy Galaxy A5 2017 hơi lớn hơn một chút và dày hơn một chút so với A5 2016, nhưng nhìn tổng thể thì máy cầm thích hơn và gọn gàng hơn với những đường bo cong ở mặt kính 2.5D và vát cong 4 cạnh ở mặt sau.
Hiệu năng của Galaxy A5 2017 là khá ổn, có cảm giác máy phản hồi nhanh hơn khá nhiều so với những thế hệ Galaxy A trước. Lần này thì Samsung đã sử dụng chip Exynos 8 nhân 1.9GHz, 3GB RAM do họ tự chế tạo. Con chip này mạnh hơn rất nhiều so v ới 4 nhân Cortex A53 1.5GHz và 4 nhân 1.2GHz trên thế hệ cũ, chưa kể đến việc dùng GPU mới Mali T730MP3 với 3 cụm nhân đồ họa thay vì T720MP2.
Về camera, Galaxy A5 2017 sử dụng cảm biến 16MP ở cả mặt trước và sau, ống kính cùng là khẩu độ f/1.9. Tất nhiên là 2 hệ thống này hoàn toàn không giống nhau, vì camera sau có chất lượng cao hơn rất nhiều. Thử nghiệm sơ bộ trên cụm camera “không lồi” này cho thấy A5 2017 có chất lượng hình khá ổn, các bạn có thể xem trong video. Mình có cảm giác hình khá hài hòa, xử lý ít hơn điện thoại năm 2016 của Samsung.
Cần lưu ý là camera trước của A5 không có lấy nét tự động như bao camera trước khác. Trên phiên bản A7 thì một số bạn nói với mình có tính năng selfie làm mờ hậu cảnh nhưng máy A5 mình cầm lại không có.
Về pin, A5 2017 có pin 3000mAh, dùng USB C, hỗ trợ sạc nhanh QuickCharge 2.0. Samsung khá hào phóng khi tặng kèm cục sạc này bên trong hộp, một điểm làm mình bất ngờ vì không nhiều nhà sản xuất tặng kèm sạc nhanh trong hộp với các máy trung cấp. A5 cũng dùng WiFi AC, điểm rất hiếm xuất hiện ở phân khúc dưới 10 triệu chính hãng
Samsung’s Galaxy S7 is one of the most popular Android phones. In part, that's because of its very good performance and excellent camera. Another key factor is the stunning glass and metal design.
Well, when it comes to the design and looks, Samsung has just made a near carbon copy that is way more affordable: the new Galaxy A5 [2017]. Really, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy A5 [2017] are strikingly similar. Both feature a curved glass back and a metal frame, both are of identical physical size, even both are water-resistant and run on the same Grace user interface.
So why even consider the Galaxy S7 then? Well, do not write off the flagship S7 just yet: we will be comparing the new S7 and A5 [2017] in areas that are not immediately obvious, such as the actual performance, camera quality, battery life and so on. So let’s see.
Design
Look at the two from afar, and you won’t be able to tell the difference.As we said already, the S7 and A5 [2017] are really similar. So much so that from afar, you could easily mistake one for the other. The giveaway is the camera. While the S7 has a large camera sensor with optical image stabilization that protrudes out of the phone’s back, the A5 [2017] has a tiny camera lens that almost looks disproportionately small.
The phones' physical size is comparable: the A5 is just a hair wider and taller, but the difference is almost invisible. Both are also equally thin: just 7.9mm, but the curved glass on the back makes it feel like they are even smaller. Having curved glass backs also adds to the comfort factor: it’s easier to pick them up from the table.
Both have a fingerprint scanner up front, embedded in the physical home button, and both have a 3.5mm headset jack.
The coolest feature that the two share, however, has to be water resistance: both can be submerged in water up to 5 feet deep for as long as 30 minutes without suffering any damage. They are not meant to live under water [and do not bring them close to salty sea / ocean water], but an occasional selfie in the swimming pool is fine, and you don’t need to worry when using them in the rain or dropping them in the toilet. It’s really nice that Samsung equips even a mid-range phone like the A5 [2017] with water-proofing at the high IP 68 rating, while even Apple’s flagship darling, the iPhone 7, has a lower IP 67 water protection [meaning it can be safely submerged in only 3-feet deep water].
The new A5 also has one advantage over the Galaxy S7: it uses the newer USB-C port for charging, while the S7 relies on the dated microUSB. USB-C is reversible, so you can plug in USB-C cables both ways, and it’s gradually becoming the universal standard for all sorts of electronics. It’s simply more future-proof.
Display
Switching over to the display part, we have two AMOLED screens with gorgeous colors. The S7 features a 5.1” screen with a higher, 1440 x 2560 pixel [Quad HD] resolution, while the A5 [2017] has a 5.2” display with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. Both are PenTile displays [meaning they get less sub-pixels per pixels than an LCD RGB screen], and while there is a slight difference in sharpness, when using the phones at a regular viewing distance they both looked sharp enough to us.
Both phones support various color modes, as is typical with Samsung screens, and we recommend using the Basic screen mode [go to Settings > Display > Screen Modes to switch]. The default Adaptive mode looks equally punchy and oversaturated on both, but is not particularly accurate to calibration standards. You can check out our detailed color measurements right below and notice that the S7 has a slight advantage with its better color balance.
The other cool thing about the A5 [2017] is that it gets the Always-on Display mode that the flagship S7 has. It shows high-contrast white text on your lockscreen all the time and is useful to see the time, date and whether you have some missed notifications [the text of notifications, however, is not shown]. This is a cool feature, but having it enabled will have an impact on battery life.
