1. Open the Apple TV app.
2. Click the Library tab.
3. In the sidebar, click Movies or TV Shows.
   
4. Hold the pointer over a movie or TV show, then click the Download button
   
   . If you use Family Sharing, choose a family member's name next to Purchased to see their purchases.

1. Open iTunes.
2. From the menu bar at the top of the iTunes window, choose Account > Purchased. If you use Family Sharing, you'll see Family Purchases instead of Purchased.
3. Click Movies or TV Shows in the top corner of the iTunes window. If you use Family Sharing, choose a family member's name next to Purchased to see their purchases.
4. Find the movie or TV show that you want to redownload. 
5. Click the Download button

You can't download movies and TV shows on Apple TV, smart TVs and other streaming devices with the Apple TV app. You can stream movies and TV shows that you purchased. Just open the Apple TV app and go to your library.

You can buy an individual TV show and then watch it on your computer, iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Many shows are available for download and purchase the day after they air; some shows may not be available for a few days.

1. In the iTunes app

   on your PC, choose TV Shows from the pop-up menu on the top left, then click Store.

2. Click in the search field in the top-right corner of the iTunes window and enter a word or phrase.

   As you type, iTunes displays a list of items that match the search text you entered.

3. To choose where you want to search, click Store in the top-right corner of the search results.

   

4. Press Enter.

   Your search results appear in the iTunes window.

   Note: Instead of searching in the iTunes Store, you can browse — click Store, look through the various shows, episodes and categories in the window, then select an item.

5. To preview an item before purchasing, move the pointer over the item, then click the Preview button

6. To buy and download the item, click the button — which might be labelled Buy, Free, Subscribe, a specific price or something else.

   You typically have the following options for buying or downloading a TV season (not all are available for every show or in all countries or regions):

   • Season Pass: For a season in progress. All episodes for the current season are purchased, and all available episodes are downloaded to your iTunes library; new episodes are downloaded when they become available.

     Important: When new episodes become available, you’re notified by email. To download a new episode, click the link in the email. If you buy a season pass and then buy an individual episode, you’re charged again for the episode.

   • Buy All Episodes: For a season in progress. All available episodes for the current season are purchased and downloaded, but not new episodes.

   • Multi-Pass: For shows that don’t have traditional “seasons” (for example, news programs). The latest episode is downloaded; each remaining episode is downloaded when it becomes available.

   • Buy Season: For a completed season. All episodes are purchased and downloaded.
