I’m a light sleeper and was working late night hours back then. The product was a bit thicker, and instantly de-puffed my eyelids and balanced out the deep and dark circles under my eyes. This recent purchase is so-so. Feels good, but not as thick or effective. I suspect there’s more water in it now…typical way companies cut costs to keep pricing from increasing too much. It immediately irritated my skin by stinging it a little bit. I have sensitive skin ever since I started using a topical retinol a few years ago. I thought this would feel gentle but it doesn't. This DHC product does not irritate my eyes, and I like that it can be used on the upper eyelid as well. It's not greasy so can be used during the day under makeup. Every once in a while, I'll try another brand and always come back to Eye Bright. It's terrific under makeup, works well with a primer if you have to use one. I use this product at night and because it is a lighter-weight product, it doesn't cause overnight eye puffiness. And the price is reasonable. I like the DHC product line. After a couple of minutes, it tightens eyelids and is so light. I use it during the day, and DHC 's concntrated eye cream at nigh for overnight moisturizing.
