The Weeks Paper Series: Champagne Gold features a paper cover by specialized paper trading company Takeo. Champagne Gold uses Takeo's "Gmund Gold" paper that has an elegant shine. At 240 pages of the amazing Tomoe River paper, the Weeks is 9mm thick and weighs under 140g. The Hobonichi Weeks main layout consists of a weekly Calendar on the left page and blank graph paper on the right page. The Hobonichi Weeks also includes 69 graph-ruled memo pages at the end of the book, which are great for note taking. ** According to Hobonichi, the Tomoe River paper used in the 2023 planners and paper accessories is the same paper that was used in the 2022 planners and accessories. Starting in 2024 (on sale in September 2023), the Hobonichi planners will use the new Tomoe River paper. The Weeks planners will start with the new paper in 2025.
