You could have done a custom installation. And as I said, you can add/remove components you want/don't want. Hi, We are sorry about your problems. I tested your scenario with unchecked SafeZone browser feature. And the result was the SafeZone browser IS NOT installed. So I would be glad if you can share your setup.log file from Persistent Data folder (Program Data\Avast). btw. If you have set the browser as default, the browser will open also PDFs. You can change this in your OS settings. This is currently feature of the browser. I understand that some people do not like it. We will definitely investigate it in further releases.
