- Tắt điện thoại -> Cắm sẵn 1 đầu cáp vào điện thoại -> Ấn giữ nút Tăng âm lượng đồng thời cắm đầu cáp còn lại vào máy tính đợi 2-3 giây đèn led chuyển từ đỏ sang xanh da trời thì thả tay ra khỏi nút Tăng âm lượng. Vào thư mục platform-tools chọn RUN ADB và gõ câu lệnh sau: (*)

• fastboot devices
• fastboot flash recovery C:\recovery.img
• fastboot reboot

(Nhập từng dòng và ENTER nhé ) Sau đó để đó cho máy tự khởi động lại và thực hiên tiếp bước (*) gõ dòng lệnh:

• fastboot reboot

8. On the Xperia Companion home screen under Manage your Xperia, click Backup. Follow the on-screen instructions to back up your content.
9. When you have finished the backup, click Software update on the Xperia Companion home screen.
10. In the popup window, click Update.
