The Ryder Cup usually alternates between Ireland and France, but the 2023 tournament will be
held in Italy for the first time, from September 25 to October 1, at Marco Simone Golf &
Country Club in Rome.

The 2023 Netball World Cup will be held in South Africa for the first time from July 28 to
August 6, 2023, at the Cape Town International Convention Centre in Cape Town.

Cricket World Cup

The ICC Cricket World Cup is the premier international cricket tournament. It’s held every four
years and organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC), with preliminary qualification
rounds leading to a finals series. Also, the competition is considered the world cup of one-day cricket
and test matches, with all test-playing nations participating in the tournament.
In addition, the competition features 10 of the world’s top cricketing nations. This year’s
tournament is its 13th edition and is scheduled to be held in India between October and
November 2023.

World Baseball Classic

The World Baseball Classic is a tournament held every four years (formerly three years) in
which national baseball teams from around the world compete. Major League
Baseball (MLB) is the event organizer. It is sanctioned by the International Baseball Federation (IBAF).
The World Baseball Classic consists of many rounds of competition, involving 20 teams in the
first round from next year’s edition, then eight in the second round. After that, we will see four in the semifinals, and two in the finals. The winner of each pool advances to a higher-tier bracket, and those who finish last in their respective pools move on to play elimination games. The 2023 edition will be hosted by Japan, Taiwan, and the United States on March 8 to 21.
